You'll make the content that helps people discover Spoks, understand the product and hear from the merchants using it. Film a customer story, design a launch announcement or turn a useful product tip into a short video. Take ideas from the first sketch to something ready to publish.
You'll work directly with the founder and Growth Lead on priorities, then design, shoot and edit the work yourself. You'll also help build our creator network from the ground up, finding collaborators and making it easy for them to produce good work. Keep our shared content library organized and use AI to speed up production without losing the human stories.
Enjoy being on camera? We'd love you to bring your personality to product demos, social videos and interviews. It's a plus, not a requirement. You can also work behind the camera with our founder, merchants and other creators.
What you will do
- Apply and develop Spoks' visual style across product launches, our website, social content and campaigns, working with the founder and Growth Lead.
- Turn product ideas, merchant experiences and company milestones into clear stories, concepts, scripts and creative briefs.
- Work with our Customer Support Specialist on tutorials, webinars and merchant stories. They bring customer questions and product knowledge; you turn them into clear, engaging content.
- Design still images, carousels, launch graphics and product visuals. Produce and edit video, including walkthroughs, founder content, customer stories and short social formats.
- Build and maintain our content library, including an ad library with fresh concepts and variations in hooks, layouts, copy, edits and formats.
- Help build our creator network: find collaborators, write briefs, coordinate recordings and give useful feedback. Work with Growth on which partnerships to pursue, while keeping your own production moving.
- Organize shoots, deadlines, reviews, usage permissions and reusable assets. Coordinate external production costs with the founder and Growth Lead. Use automation to reduce repetitive coordination.
- Work with the Founding Growth Lead to understand which content reaches relevant merchants, helps them understand the product and contributes to customer growth. Use those findings to improve the next round of work.
What you will bring
- You can design polished image assets and produce and edit video yourself. Show us examples of both and explain your contribution.
- You have a strong eye for layout, typography and pacing. You can carry a visual idea across formats while keeping a consistent standard.
- You write specific briefs, give useful feedback and recognize strong hooks, clear product explanations and effective edits.
- You can organize a production pipeline and keep collaborators, deadlines and assets moving.
- You use AI and automation in your work and can show a workflow you've built or improved.
- You understand that a large creator roster only helps if it produces useful content and reaches potential customers.
Experience in content production, design, ecommerce or an agency is useful. A strong portfolio can come from paid work, freelance projects or your own channels. You don't need a large personal following. Show us your ideas, your craft and what you can produce yourself.
Building creative workflows with AI
Use AI tools to develop visual concepts, create variations and speed up editing. Use Claude Code, Codex or similar tools to turn campaign results into brief inputs, organize the content library, coordinate creator follow-ups and reduce repetitive production work. Bring an example and explain what you automated, where you kept human review and how you checked the output. You should be comfortable learning tools that help the program grow.
What to show us
Share three to five examples, including a design or still-image asset and a video you personally produced or edited. Explain your contribution and any results. If you have built an ad library, creator program or production automation, show us that too. If you enjoy presenting on camera, we'd love to see an example. It's completely optional.
